    Dave, contact Peter Hancock (cobra4281@bigpond.com) if you like about the EEC computers. He knows a lot about them and has used the chip programmer on mine before I went to Autronic. He also does a lot of work for Craig. I think you can bypass all that computer key stuff. Well I did it on mine anyway, it wasn't hard. Cheers, Ash.

    Yeah I have locked in the 302 Windsor, I know the motors well and they fit anywhere. Sorry to hear Russell is having trouble.

    When you get a chance contact Russell if your thinking of using a Coyote.

    I was with him on the weekend and I saw a number of small issues with fitting - starter motor, exhaust etc etc.

    I'm thinking the Windsor is the way to go with AP cars, but Russell will no doubt give you the pros and cons for each.

    Hi there,
    I bought a Coyote Aluminator from Fortes Parts Connection for USD8375.00. There are less expensive places but Mike Forte has been very helpful in steering me in the right direction so I went with him with a full package of engine, trans, clutch, wiring and computer and some other items.
    Can you send me your email address to russell@aiareps.com.au and I will send you my calculation sheet which has a variety of suppliers and prices for the drive train.

    i fitted to the speed-master 8 stack to my stockish 302 in my GT40. it required a bit of work , had to get some machining done to manifold and mess around with fittings but overall it balanced up...

    wow 95k, 408 is a great motor, I have 414 stroker in my 40 and does it throw you back in the seat. The only problem i have with CR's is there is not much dish in the rear wheels....IMHO.

    Trying to get the 40 sorted before the Pace turns up. Plenty of sagas with sticking gearboxes and slipping clutches. Hopefully mostly sorted, off to dyno mid Oct so will see what this 414 Windsor can...
