    G'Day Bernie

I was speaking to Ben Gosper the President of the NSW Cobra Club and he suggested I try to look you up.

I'm on the market now for 'ideally' a guardsman Blue 427 S/C however before I commit to a new Superformnace here in Melbourne with John (which has a 2 year waiting list) I just thought I would throw a net out to see if there is anyone out there who might feel they have had their share of good times with their Cobra and have decided it might be a good time to move their beloved 427 to a new and loving home such as in my garage 😊

Now budget wise I know I can build a new one for around $200 to $250k depending on how crazy I go with the engine so let's use that as a rough bench mark.

Ben tells me that you may just consider the idea of parting with your 427 Cobra and if this was true I would love to have a chat with you. If so please feel free to call/txt on 0413 072 372

    Best Regs from Melbourne.

Hi, I'm interested in getting a Kirkham 289 into Australia. Do you have any advice? I've never imported a vehicle before. What is the easiest way to do this? Can I have a LHD ne here?

    Hi Bernie
Unfortunately it is still a long way off I only have half an engine, the top half is missing.
The water proof connectors are off the shelf Navra from autobarn.
I can't take credit for the plastic backing for the tail lights they are an AP design to house the LED bulbs, the once AP supplied did not quite fit so I remade them and they fit bit better now, not perfect but better, do you want a set?
    Cheers

    Hi mate,
I just emailed Bruce Martens about my application for the SA club which I still have not heard anything back about. With luck he will sort my membership one way or the other.
I dont suppose you have Bruce Allens email or mobile number mate?
Very excited to hear the SA club is pretty active. I am having some real problems with fitting the exhaust manifolds, so will be great to speak with some fellow DBR builders

    Cheers

Thanks for the warm welcome Bernie. Will get onto the SA club and see if I can't catch up with a few of them soon.
I have a business in the Adelaide hills, but live in the city.

    Cheers

Hi mate, my name is Kieren. I am fresh to the cobra site and pretty keen to find anybody that can help with some questions on a cobra build. Ive taken one over from my father and would really appreciate local assistance. Its a DRB kit - dont even know if it ranks as a good shell or not. If your able to help mate would be great. Ps, im from Adelaide.
