It's not a nightmare, the biggest thing is to make it easy for DMV. Contact DMV in Trenton, they will send you an information package, everything needs to be filled out accurately. FYI They will ask for original documents (not copies). I think the paperwork process on my car took 8-10 weeks - I don't remember. Is the car new or used? Where did you get it? -

I am in the process of buying a backdraft cobra and I was curious about the registration process in NJ...how was your experience with the DMV and what should I pay attention to?
