I'm afraid Brent holds the purse strings so moderators have nothing to touch/look at for something like this. It may take him several weeks to catch up on payments.

Tom: I just wanted to follow up on our thread regarding the Box Models / Bang Models 1/43 Allen Grant 289 Cobra in white. Are you sure about that "only 10 produced in white" thing? I have never heard that anywhere else, and if you look on eBay right now (search "1/43 Cobra #96), I am showing 10 of them currently up for sale - and if you check "sold listings", you'll see 6 more of them changed hands recently. So there has to be more than 10 in white. If anything, I would think that the correct yellow version would be the rare one, because come to think of it, I have never seen a Box/Bang 1/43 Allen Grant Cobra in yellow.

Hi Alf02, I was the guy who was asking for help to identify the mfgr of my Cobra. You suggested I post some pics in the CRII forum. I did start a new thread (titled Mystery Car), but did not not get posted. Is there a time delay, or is the Moderator not allowing it to be posted? Sorry for all the questions, but I'm not familiar with all the forum rules, and process. Thx- KT
