    VIN plate locations can be different based on the state that issued the VIN. Indiana wanted it close to the current location on new cars and agreed to the firewall above the LH foot box. John

    My point is, Porsches will always have a large following, (young & old), again millions built, so vintage Porsches will always have many well-heeded buyers, so prices are what a large group is...
