    hi rick , i would love to get a set of your 289 fia valve covers .i have 205 afr heads on a 302/347 stroker running solid lifters and roller rockers i think..?
    i am also changing over to 48 ida webers and i am trying to find a mount system/ straps for the harrison tank that will attach to the transverse leaf spring. i also need the weber linkage with bell crank and tower , cheers paul.

    Rick, thanks for the info. I have lined up the linkage and inserted a 1/4 inch rod. All the linkage rods seem to be fairly rigid and not loose. NOthing looks twisted or bent. I tightened up all the bolts, pulled out the 1/4 inch rod and the shifter shifted great. During driving all is perfect. Then, I stopped, put it in reverse, backed up, put it in first and again, I cannot get it in any forward gear. Any ideas?
