Thank you sir. I have a plate riveted on my drivers frame that looks original. My DMV in NC is most likely going to assign me a different number to register it. Thank you for the response.
No, I never found the WCC stamp - but frankly I haven't looked that hard. There's a plate with a Michigan state issued VIN on the driver's door opening. That's what we're using for registration and insurance.
