My name is Nigel Jones, Englishman based in Singapore.
Having trawled the internet far and wide and as a fan of the Piston Heads website, I would like to commend you on your wonderful TVR Vixen.
I have recently purchased an old 1970s Vixen (from the US coincidentally) and have plans for a complete nut and bolt rebuild and sympathetic modernization/ upgrade.
I am hoping that I could trouble you for any advice or guidance on your build. Now that you have lived with the conversion what would you have done differently? It is the real details that make for a really good conversion, but of course no wish to cause inconvenience by troubling you.
I see that you went the SBF route – would you recommend again? What about the LS route, too modern? I have a bunch of other questions, could I email you?
I would be most grateful for any advice that you can share.
