Thats really close but the FE could be from 9-18K, iron 390 to alluminum 482. The only other thing i see missing is the bellhousing and clutch/flywheel, about 1500 for those. ERA has a full price list on their site that shows everything including the options. I have about 135 hours in mine and have done everything except the paint, probably about 20 more to be completely done.

gary, i read the build thread on your era. I've owned several cobra replicas and have always wanted to get an ERA. I've been giving some thought to trying to build ERAs and sell them from a shop. If you don't mind my asking, do you have a rough idea of the cost of the major components of the build?
Basic Kit $23,000
Jag Rear: 5,000
FE Motor: $15,000
Toploader: $2,500
Sidepipes: $2,000
Knockoffs: $2,500
I'm guessing around $50k before time to assemble, fit, body prep and paint. I would guess a completed car like yours with the same setup would fetch $90k new, and maybe $75k in the used market. Trying to figure out if i had a full time assembler, mechanic, body/paint crew, is there a market for these at 90k and could we clear $40k before paying for time and paint and overhead? If you wouldn't mind helping me refine my math here, I'd really appreciate it. I live in Connecticut so getting the supplies from ERA is very convenient.
