Excellent choice. Just upgrade the engine to the European version ( from 240 to 321HP) and you'll have a mashine for lots of fun on and off the Track. Nicest Bimmer made after the 2002...

Check with www.racenasa.com and the HDPE events in the OH/IN region. You could run Open Track events at Mid-Ohio, Nelson, BeaveRun (I-76, exit 2 just inside the PA border), Putnam Park etc....
