Looking for a Butler

I'll break the almost two year drought of posts here with my search for a Butler. After selling my Arntz a few years ago, I've decided to try to find a Butler. I've chased down a few in the last...

Did it have an engine fire or something? Doesn't look that great in there...

Definitely looks like a Butler. Could be an Arntz but it's sure got alot of Butler pieces on it, so I doubt it. Chassis...

VC455,

If your car actually was built in 79-80, it's an Arntz. Butler may have supplied some parts or done some labor but it won't be a Butler and won't have the BRI number stamped on the frame...

Hi Jack,

Welcome to the group!

If there is no BRI number on the frame up front, it's not one of the 104 cars that were built in the Butler jigs. It's most likely an Arntz but still could have...

Scott,

I'm quite sure you know what I'm talking about and I'm hoping that you will use discretion in posting future comments if you choose to stick around. Thank you,

Jack, pictures of your car would be really helpful. If the original owner had it before 1980, it's not a Butler and since you didn't find any numbers anywhere, that confirms it. Post some pictures in...

67snake,

If you have a Butler, you won't find anything under the seat, only where Russ states. All the Butler cars have a complete frame number here. If you have one of the 60 frames Butler built...

David, these are all part of the information packet that would have been sent to potential Arntz customers around 1980 (about the time Arntz went under). They're really nicely done and do show a...
