I run Autolite 124's in my 428. 2 steps colder then the 45's. Those are my favorit plugs to run! Gap @ .035 to .040. JMHO

Could be the rear main seal. And if it is Pull it and silicone it is what I do LOL. I bet it is a rear main "IF" you didn't prime the oil system/run the engine before install!

Not all FE's have casting #"s! The over the counter sevice blocks from Ford didnt have casting marks but they do have the ribs on either side of the block. "JMO"
