I did the same thing while replacing the starter...
I did the same thing while replacing the starter selinoid. I found the altinator was the weak link. Replaced it and all was ok.

Oil pressure Gage location
On the BDR the fastest and cleanest way was to remove the clock. A 2 minute job and replace with oil temp gage. Same size hole. Who needs a clock when your driving a cobra anyway.:LOL:
