On the Blue Thunder intake with Holley 2x4 from Carl's Ford Parts the fuel log fitting is 1/4 NPT so if you are using that kit or similar the threaded inlet is 1/4 NPT :)

I would definitely replace with 2 gauge as was original with SPF wiring, that's a huge current load circuit directly to the starter from solenoid. JMHO :):)

The carpet is just velcro'd over the fuel tank sender access door in the trunk. Unscrew the plate, check out the gasket area, most likely it is what leaked when you had it...

That's a nice looking SPF. You need the car number to tracking down history, you could probably call them and get the CSP#### from the plate on the firewall. Looks well cared for, but only guessing...
