Thanks Tim, but yes, it did make a big difference. The 15 tire gave the car quite a bit of cushion and bumps and small pot holes weren't a big problem, but as soon as the 17s went on it started...

Also.... I bought a new release arm thinking the angle might be a bit different....It isn't, but now the arms come with a 2 or 3 pound weight bolted into the end near where the cable attaches to it....

With a .68 5th gear, 26 inch tires and a stock 3.27 rear 70mph was at 2,000 PRM. I couldn't stand it because the engine had very little torque there. With a 4.10 rear instead I ended up at 2500 RPM...
