Looks awesome as did my FE pent roof chrome covers but the adaptors would not stay sealed to the AFR heads. And yes, I got the best adaptors out there.

I just installed the Ford Racing W427B...

I thought about milling the tops flat and polishing them. What stopped me was that there is nothing I can do with the sides as they are ribbed as well and the shape is too complex to machine.

The "CS Shelby" valve covers (and everything else in that family) from Scott Drake do not fit the 427R with Comp Cam rockers and stud girdles that sit about 1/2" high.

The hight is actually fine...

They said their hasn't been a production run of these in 12-18 months and the stock is long since depleted....

I actually found these covers in my search but am over spacers and adaptors so not an option. I’ve had issues despite proper prep an Ford TA31 sealant.

Perfect for an FIA car but these would be a disaster to try and make work an a Roush 427R (probably require 2 sets of spacers) and I think would look all wrong on a Mk3.

Thanks, I will give them a call. I don’t think my Shelby covers will fit (looks like the stud girdles will be an issue) but I will find out tomorrow when they arrive.
