I just spoke with the CHP, and they're using the scales 8AM-2PM on Thursday, May 18. They suggested a large lot nearby - The Crown Plaza in Concord. It's easy to get in, and easier back on to I-680...

I'm in the middle of it myself, with a 1983 Aurora Cobra. It's factory built with same year engine and VIN. Your car is from out of state, so must comply with CA regs...If your car was NOT factory...
