Rear Spring, need help identifying

I recently got my kit on the road and discovered that the rear springs are WAY too weak. It was an old kit and sat on these springs for 15 years which may have something to do with the problem.

First thing to check is engine to frame ground.

Battery connections

Wiring to alternator next

Then check voltage while running. Should be 13.6 volts at...

How old is your kit? If it has the center hood latch it may date back to the 90's. We have one that was made in 1992.

Be prepared to do some engineering but when you are done you will have one...

I was there when it happened and the truth of the matter is that Shell oil wanted to stop stocking 80 octane avgas. Without any testing they simply took 100 octane Avgas and RAISED the lead content...

I think if your read the instructions on the MSD box you will find that it does not use a resistor. The resistor cut down the current available to the coil and reduced the heat build up in it.
