"The flywheel is still in the same place with or without a block plate and your starter bolts up evenly with the block -- so a block plate that's in between the two is not going to make a difference...

Road force balancing made all the difference in the world. Even with one tire at a 31 all the shimy was gone, up to 85 mph. Will go somewhere to try higher speeds this weekend.
