Has anyone with a TKO 600 in a sm blk Ford needed a long pilot bushing? I'm told by a rep at Tilton that my clutch clearance problem is due to me using a Lakewood bellhousing and a Centerforce clutch...

surge tank

Is it neccesary to have a surge tank on your engines cooling system? I don't have one currently but have heard I should install one. can I get some advise on this issue? Also how are they installed....

I made a cradle out of chain, 4x4's and 2x4's in conjunction with an engine hoist that works great. I have moved mine on and off more times that I can remember. No problems at all.
