I built these for a 427 side oiler I was putting and ended up finding a pair of side oiler heads to use.
These are every bit as potent a head as Ford ever built for the street at a fraction of the cost of medium rise 427 heads. The Ford C1AE FE Big Block head was the predecessor to the C3AE lowrise 427 Head and ruled the streets in the early 60's. They have the same chamber volume, intake and exhaust port size and flow characteristics. This set had been fitted with 2.15" / 1.72" medium rise valves for maximum flow and will help you make BIG HP on your next FE builld at a fraction of the price of 427 heads. All the performance of a set of 427 heads for 1/3 the price!
