Description: Superformance MKIII 427 S/C powered by Ford Cobra Jet 460 big block, bored & stroked to 520cid! Rated at 600 horsepower 620 Ft. Lbs. of torque! And the big block sound to match all that power! This beautiful Royal Blue White stripe Cobra is chassis #0790 and is in excellent condition with less than 5100 miles. First licensed in 2008 under California’s SB-100 law which means no smog certification for life. Remember all MKIIIs are factory built rolling chassis with all new components and a show quality factory paint job. Chassis and suspension components are purpose built for the series which results in a superb handling sports car. Additionally this Cobra had full chassis service plus new QA-1 springs & shocks installed by Stewart Hall of Hall Fabrication & Racing in Benicia. This well known Cobra shop replaced the springs & shocks with the high performance QA-1s and set the chassis for optimum handling. They also replaced all fluids including the diff lube. This Cobra is ready for touring & tracking this spring!

Engine build details: Ford Cobra Jet 460 block, bored .30 & stroked with a nodular iron crank resulting in 520 cubic inches. The block was lined honed and decked then topped off with SVO Cobra Jet aluminum heads and stainless valves. Comp roller cam & roller lifters, aluminum roller rockers. Forged pistons, polished A514 rods with ARP bolts. An aluminum Edelbrock intake carries dual Holley four barrel carbs. Accessories include Canton 8 qt oil pan with windage tray, SVO high volume oil pump, Edelbrock aluminum water pump, SVO polished pulley kit. MSD billet distributor with a MSD 6AL box. Included on this MKIII are the silver ceramic coated headers & side pipes.

Transmission, Driveline & Suspension: Transmission is Tremec TKO 500 clutch with a 12” McLeod disc & McLeod pressure plate actuated by a hydraulic clutch slave. The aluminum flywheel is also by McLeod. Bellhousing is Lakewood shatterproof. Driveshaft is custom made, connecting the Ford 8.8” differential. The MKIII has all independent suspension with new custom QA-1 springs shocks & Wilwood brakes. The 15” knock-off aluminum wheels are pin drive & carry radial T/As 255/60R15 front & 275/60R15 rear.

Cockpit: The MKIII interior is fully equipped with correct Smiths gauges, Lucas switches, German leather seats, wool carpeting & a Moto Lita wood rimmed wheel. Additional features include heater/defroster, dual fresh air vents, vent wings & tinted visors. Dropped foot boxes, map pockets, Cobra floor mats tonneau cover and top with side curtains and car cover are also featured in this well cared for MKIII Cobra. Special interior options include a Amerex cockpit fire extinguisher, under dash cigarette lighter & dual shoulder harnesses for driver & passenger.

Truly a great looking & driving Cobra with both the sound & heart stopping performance that only a “big block” Cobra Jet motor can provide!
