This engine ran in my Cobra very well, doing something like 500HP, until one rod bearing loosened up and damaged one rod journal.
Since I did not want to wait to repair the engine inmediately I decided to get a new aluminum sideoiler short block.
I do not need this engine any more, which I repaired recently and thought of keeping as a spare and for originality, since it is an original Ford block from 1964, thus rare and valuable.

The block is in very good condition, only maybe 500km after installing new piston rings and crosshatching the cylinders. There are no cracks nor welding repairs on the block. The cylinder can be bored 0.03" oversize maximum, from the original 4.23 ". The actual bore size now is 4.24" as you can see on the caliper reading. It means that the block is not at the end of its service life and can take two overbores.
The crankshaft has been reground and all the main and rod bearings replaced with Clevite 77. One rod, the one on the damaged rod bearing was replaced with a new one and weight matched and polished to match the other 7 rods. Rods are Police Interceptor with the thicker 13/32" rod bolts.

In order to finish the engine you will need:

2 bare Cylinder heads (Edelbrock sells one bare head, which is the ones I have) and gaskets
Complete rocker shaft with rockers and stands
Valve covers
oil pump drive shaft
engine plate and belhousing
Front main seal, oil slinger and damper spacer for the cranshaft snout through the timing cover
Water pump pulley
Timing pointer on timing cover
Hold down clamp for ignition distributor
Ignition Coil
Oil filter holder, can also be a remote adapter to locate the filter off the engine block
Alternator and alternator bracket
Ignition cables.
Complete engine gasket set from Fel-Pro

Note that the engine is located in Europe, so no need to ship over the pond, no Custom charges nor VAT to pay. Buyer pays shipping. Estimated within Europ 200 Eur
