After owning this car for nearly 20 years, its time to let it go in order to pursue other projects.
For Sale: 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe with the original 289 motor and C-4 3 speed transmission. It is Wimbledon White with a medium blue interior making it a classic and rare color combination. In addition, the car came from the factory with a bench seat (which looks like the buckets, but are attached at the bottom) making it one of only 7% of Mustangs with this option.
The car is about 75% restored. The trunk, frame rails, quarter panels, wheel wells, rocker panels and floor pans were all professionally replaced by the award winning Mustang Restorations in East Dundee Illinois. It currently has a 302 motor in it, but I have the original motor on an engine stand waiting to be rebuilt. This is truely a beautiful work in progress and deserves a home where the restoration can and will be completed.
