This is a factory made stainless expansion tank for a Superformance Mk3 cobra with 351W small block. It came off a Roush 427R motor.
It is designed to mimic the original coolant tanks. This will polish up nice and bright.
Tank works, but the upper neck on the pressure cap has a leak at the base- my TIG guy welded a bead at the front, but his torch is unable to reach the back and sides to encompass it 360 degrees to fix the leak. I have instructions on how to TIG it for the buyer, I'm just tired of messing with it.
The OEM SPF part is horrendously expensive ($850 from Hillbank)- here is your chance to score one for less than half price!
