This 1967 Cobra project was started by my late father who collected the parts in England and North America in the late 70' s and 80's. He obtained this Cobra chassis and had the aluminum body built by 2 coach builders from Autocraft. It is not an Autocraft chassis with a number. During his life, he had a passion for Cobras, he owned CSX 3219.
ROLLING CHASSIS-Front/Rear suspension from original AC Cobra.
Front Uprights are from an original Cobra. Rear uprights, tool room copies (fabricated). Stub axels from original car.
Original Sailsbury Differential. New drive Shafts. Correct rear calipers (Girling) /Handbrake.
No front caliper's, no interior (original style seat frames included)
Wiring harness installed (Kirkham), all Smith's gauges, Speedometer and Tachometer.
No radiator, gas tank or exhaust system.
Original soft top frame and side screens, Car has Tonneau cover, but its for a right hand drive car.
ENGINE-427 Side oiler, original forged steel crank (NOS), LeMans connecting rods (NOS) Standard bore (see pics).
2 Top loader gear boxes (large input shaft) Ford (Hurst) shifters.
