                | What were you thinking for a price? Are these stock Jag units or "special" for Cobra replica?

                | The shocks with springs are $800.00 OBO. The numbers are 80T 149 which is for the E-Type Series 1, 1½, 2 Coupé, 2+2 Coupé, Convertible 61-71. They came off of my Contemporary which has a Jag rear.

                | If they came from a Contemporary that means they had special valving and Koni will not honor there "life time warranty".

                | Koni charges $120.00 to over haul their shocks. That does not sound like a "lifetime Warranty" to me.
Besides, have you ever heard of anyone wearing any out using them in a Cobra???

                | Mine developed a dead spot. I contacted Koni and I read on there web site about life time warranty, I thought cool replaced under warranty, oop wrong. Because Contemporary worked with Koni for a "special Shock" it would not be covered. If it had been a stock shock for a E-Type Jag it would be covered.

                | I have no way of knowing if these shocks had the 'special' valving you speak of. Lower price.

                | I do not want to insult you , but I thought I would just throw this out there. I think I have basically the same units ( maybe or maybe you have the stock Jag units) they would be good for backup parts. So here goes $200 plus whatever shipping would be. Respectfully Thor

                | Split the difference?
 No offense taken. Try harder.
