390FE block bored to 428 std. engine for sale. All work prof. done by Winston Cup Champ. engine builder. Here is what I have:
2 1960's date code 390 blocks both wall sounded, pressure and crack checked Plenty of meat to have std .413 428 bore. One block pressure washed and ready for machine work with 1960' date code.
Second block VHT painted, finish honed,Gluzite coated and ready for assembly. All oil mods done. Balanced rotating assembly,428 Harm balancer, 390 rods rebuilt with 190,00 psi ARP bolts, polished std 428 crank, Ross coated forged pistons, Smith Bros pushrods, Comp cams 282H camshaft, comp cams hyd lifters,Cloyes roller timing chain set, Melling Oil pump, Branda "427 Cobra"Lemans Al valve covers.
Two sets of heads: One set Edlbrk Alum. new in box with oil mods done and restrictors in place. One set stock cast iron rebuilt and ported to 428 with all rocker arm assys. Balanced refinished flywheel, new clutch disc, pressure plate, and TO bearing. Stock oil pan,new water pump, 427 side pipes(used but in nice shape), carter fuel pump, and 427 expansion tank. All you need is intake, carb, and gasket set.
If you don't wish to assemble my builder will finish and dyno for you in MA. This is the Hot Rod 390 engine build up (have the specs to go with the engine) and will produce about 425 HP.
