                        | Description: | I am listing this for my friend Michael Hawkins:
One of only 10 alloy bodied examples slated for 427FE installation, commissioned in 1988 by the
Chairman of AC Cars, Brian Angliss, using the original factory tooling and components used to build the original specification Cobra in 1966.
This is a genuine AC built Cobra in cooperation with Ford Motor Company, not an aftermarket “KitCar” or replica currently built today.

The provenance and history of this unique car is fully documented with a
Certificate of Authenticity from John Owen, Chief Engineer of AC Cars.
The car is also listed in the Shelby American Automotive Club Registry specific to
these AC cars. An estimated 452 were built worldwide at their Brookland’s Industrial
Park facility in Weybridge Surrey England with only 183 shipping to the US Market.

AK1275 is powered by a 427 side-oiler coupled through a McLeod clutch to a Ford
“Big shaft” top loader transmission. The engine has been been upgraded
and rebuilt using a steel billet 3/8 stroker crankshaft, the displacement has
been increased to 478ci. Internal components include: Alloy cylinder heads,
Schriber cam, Carrillo rods, roller rockers, Venolia 12.5/1 pistons, tunnel
wedge manifold and Holly four barrel single carbs. Also included is the originally installed
dual quad intake C5AE-9426D and carbs to go with this car.

This car is in its original black/black livery using premium Connolly black leather interior, Wilton wool
carpets, Smiths gauges, side pipes and with no side markers ever installed to its alloy bodywork.
Best part, only 2617 miles since new!
