Weber Carburetor Stack and Screen (pair)
Are you looking for something different to keep debris from getting in your Weber carburetors?
I'm a toolmaker by trade and couldn't bring myself to pay $35 (plus $8. to $10. for shipping) for a pair of ugly air horn filters that stick out like a sore thumb, are very noticeable, reduce the air flow, and muffle the "mean" sound you get from Weber carburetors.
Although my custom fabricated stainless steel screens don't keep the small particles and dust out of your engine, most people don't use anything. The amount of miles you put on your show car, street rod, Corvette, Cobra, etc, is just a fraction compared to an every day driver.
Here's what I did!!!
I took my stock 45 DCOE air horns, modified them and fabricated screens using stainless steel screen material. You can see the separate pieces in the 3rd picture above. I was so pleased with the way it came out I thought I would make them available to all of you. They attach back on your carburetor the same way you took them off. I currently have 4 pair with the modified air horns for the Weber 45 DCOE carburetor.
Here's what you get!!!
A pair of modified 45 DCOE air horns and a pair of custom fabricated stainless steel screens.
The carburetor is not included (of course).
