Description: High Tech 427 Cobra for sale
High Tech where built in the 90s and were considered to be one of the most accurate Cobra replicas built
They are very difficult to find and very sought after. (Not many were made)
It’s a fiberglass body over a tube skeleton same as the original. This is an early car with the fiberglass floor pan.
The body was removed from the chassis during the restoration. The chassis was sandblasted and repainted. All new hardware was used when undercarriage was reassembled.
Many of the suspension parts are similar to the original cars. It does have the High Tech Ford center section. All the suspension was rebuilt during restoration.
Wildwood brakes on all four corners.
The motor is a rebuilt 351 Cleveland built by Cornett Racing. (Thirty over forged pistons. 2bl heads with 4 barrel intake and Holley 600. The tranny is a T-5 five speed)
Aluminum Radiator
New wiring harness and all new Auto meter Cobra gauges (fuel gauge does not work)
Aluminum fuel cell
This car was totally restored a few years ago and has less than 400 miles on it. Everything is new on the car.
It has a 351 Cleveland and T-5 tranny. Auto meter Cobra gauges with reverse speedo, Real knockoffs.
The interior is all redone but seats are vinyl not leather
The body work and paint are like a mirror. The car is black and straight. ( hood scoop does have a crack in the paint were they tightened the scoop too tight)
The car collector who restored the car did an overall great job.
Overall the car is a great car and a blast to drive. Here is a chance to get a very hard to find and soufgt after High Tech Cobra.
The car is titled as a 66 Ford Roadster with the High Tech vin#.
Feel free to call with any questions as I am sure I forgot some things.
