He said that he can make it out of T6061 aluminum which is just as strong as steel.

And he told me it would be $100 and I can pick it up tomorrow.

The only thing I will need to fab up is a bracket for the ebrake cable to hold on to.

I am sure this ebrake will work alot better than the floating caliper from Wilwood.
6061 is not as strong as steel. 7075 is very close, but will fail in a fatigue situation sooner than A36 steel.
