Hey Dan a grade 8 3/8 bolt in double shear will be the last thing that fails you. I have some pictures of tested bars that will attect to that. Glad to hear that's going in. Do you have the main hoop in yet? I was talking 45 deg on the rear brace to vertical. Mock it up with a cardboard tube and stand back and look at it and see if you like it.
