That was the second to last race of the weekend, and the tires just about had enough. The yellow Corvette (Allen Trotter) just put his new tires on, and that was the first time he ever passed me.
. The last race was even worse.
Allan's car actually has race history back in the '70s. His horsepower is about 15% more than mine, so I can't pull from him in the straights, so I'm happy about being able to stay in front of him. He lives in Prague with his Euro-wife. Still has a house in Arlington, Texas, and flys back, picks up his car and races CVAR events. Good guy.... well they're all good guys.
