OK, I've sat on the side lines long enough. This thread first came out as inquisitive, then turned informative, then has gone crapative. I bought SPF 968 used a few years ago because I WANTED a product with some sort of quality control when manufactured. And also with some mileage so most bugs were shaken out. If I was to have my wife riding next to me, it had to be one of the safer manufacturers, at least in my mind.

After talking months with the Dallas group (with damn near every brand represented), this was the brand I wanted, and lucky enough to afford. I don't consider myself lazy, I wanted a manufacturer that had history, warranty, community, and reliability. I know I made the right decision.

Lordy, I own, maintain, upgrade, and race my '65 Mustang. I don't consider myself lazy....Geeze.

Let's right this ship (thread), and discuss pro-active means of solving and assisting. You guys need to quit throwing folks under the bus..................
