Yeah, the carbs would have been earlier than the 2-4 which didn't come from Ford until '63. They were running trips until then. Not sure about the intake, but the carbs are probably off a single 4 intake. Some pics would help to identify. In the 289 cars, which would have been the engine in '62-63 , they used a 2-4 manifold that ran AFB's. I don't think many Cobras( of any engine size) came from the factory with 2-4s. Ford sold a lot of manifolds through the parts dept. and many were sold through other speed shops such as Honest Charley and Gratiot. I think the ones that Shelby sold had either Cobra or Shelby logos,but some may have been blank. So, I would doubt and it would be hard to determine, whether that was ever on a factory 427 Cobra.
I have seen a large S on 390GT cast iron 4v intakes and S is the Ford code for T-birds too. I doubt that Shelby would have "hidden" his logo under anything.
They do make nice bling though
