I believe the C2 meant 1962 design. You would need to look at the date code of manufacture to determine when it was casted.

I believe shelby used Ford "factory crate" engines offered at the time of construction. The early 427 street cars came with 427 center oilers with 2X4 inakes, I believe low risers but that may not be true. I believe all comp and S/C cobras came with side oilers. A few of the 427 cars came with hi-Riser heads. Some of the 428 cars came with a single four.
