A scatter shield is a very good idea. I just wish that you did not have to use offset alignment pins and play around with them to get them lined up. As a person in the metal trade (I program for a 6 axis 3D laser along with other verious metal fabricating machines) it would be very simple to keep everything aligned in the manufacturing process.
