The Kevlar blankets? Far as I know they're still used and SFI approved.

Not much choice with a powerglide or a T-56 since the bell is part of the housing. Those bolt on deflectors only do so much.

Even a blow-proof bell has a nice big hole for the clutch fork aimed right at your ankle... You hope for the best and take what precautions you can, the only safe sex is no sex.
