My CR has a 390fe and the front springs were too soft and the front end sat low and on dips or bumps in the road the tires would rub inside the fenders. I switched out the stock parts and upgraded to tubular upper and lower A-arms and coil overs. Huge improvement in ride height (now adjustable) and handling rough spots in the road. As I recall they were in the 600lb range but I would do what Ron61 said. Sounds like the best way to get the right equipment. Good luck!
