Yeah, those were some of my thought's, too. I called the company to ask a few questions. The guy says "it takes some getting used to.." Geeze! The worst thing, it won't store flat. It's either tilted or upright. Pass.

I'm with you on that! I did a search on Alltheweb for automotive lifts....holy cow! The idea of TOO MANY choices comes to mind! I'm leaning towards a compact 4-pole. There seems to be some really nice products in the $2500-$3000 range. So far, I'm impressed with Back Yard Buddy. I've talked to one of their rep's several times. They are super nice, and seem eager to help. They are also made here in Ohio, have a great warranty, and a size that would fit in my garage. Check out their website, let me know what you think! I also have an information packet they sent me. I'd be happy to bring it over, and talk about it with you. Perhaps buying 3 of them, and picking them up, we could make a pretty good deal.
