Wayne,

You never hijacked the thread. We have been fighting over water here for the last three years. Sacramento wants all of it for their Delta and there just isn't enough left in Shasta Lake to furnish all the farmers, Sacramento, and generate electricity. And this is one thing they can't throw money at and make better as the snow pack is nothing at this time and when there is a little we have some warm days and it melts. If this continues, and they are saying we will have a cold, dry Winter, then next Summer is going to be bad. They still have some of the canyons that the lake normally has full closed off because the little rivers that flow through them are so low that boats will hit rocks and tree stumps if allowed to go into them. We have already been told to start cutting back on our home water usage. And this is the main part of our rainy season.
