Actually I'm not "hanging my hopes" on anything at the present, for or against Obama or the Republicans.
We NEED the two party system to maintain a balance of power. I take no delight in the troubles the Republicans face (well except around here when were trash talking
). It is not good for the country to be one sided. A "third party" would be a disaster in the short run, but maybe, just maybe, if the timing is right, their time may come. Not likely in the next election though, a third party will only serve to take votes away from the Republicans (think Tea Party).
But your right, all it takes is one man to re-energize the party and it could change things overnight. I won't be holding my breath this man (or woman) is coming any time soon, but I could be wrong. Rumor has it Jamo may know the identity of this mystery person? All I know is I was told it was none of my business as to "who".
