Actually, I rarely wore my helmet in Hawaii. I know, that was wrong, but wait it gets better. I often wore flip flops, shorts and tee shirt as well. Of course I always told everyone else how important it was for THEM to wear all the gear all the time.
Now, I'm so freakin' bundled up with shirts, jackets, long johns, gloves, boots, heavy socks and helmet I can hardly throw my leg over the bike!
