I think some others may not find them as cool as I do. I will save those for another time. You will notice, that no other cars were close to me and there are no places for a car to pull out on that stretch. This does NOT make it OK. However, it is something to keep in mind. Plus, my wife loves it when I do that. She insisted that we test the camera.
All the suggestions that have been made are great! I will implement many of them. I especially like the one of making the passenger wear the shoulder belts. She might not like it, but she knows it is really the right thing to do. These cars were not built with safety in mind. I think we will also wear our fire suits and helmets while driving around town.

The Nitto drag radials were a HUGE improvement over the Goodyear F1's. However, they wear VERY quickly. If you drive on the highway, the tread will literally disappear in one trip. But, I couldn't have gotten to a 100 nearly as quick without them. And thanks Greg for bringing up the rolling start... I knew you would notice. Never had mine on the track, but I would be VERY happy if my car could pull off 10.7 @ 130 in the quarter. That is smokin fast. You are still the king.
