I heard an interview today with some "budding" young climate scientists who admitted that the Hadley CRU emails did indeed do damage to the climate study community. There is a danger now that mainstream folks will now doubt climate change.

Also, he said that there still is the glacier data and the proprietary data sets and when you combine that with the "model data" (simulations) there is plenty of evidence to suggest that the Earth is warming.

>When will "scientists" STOP calling "model data" data?? Simulation output or predictions are based on input data. If the input data are flawed, and even more so, if the models themselves are flawed, then the output is flawed.

>Again, nobody is seriously arguing that there are not climatic changes afoot. There have always been changes and there will always be changes. Hadley CRU massaged (romanced) their temperature curves to look as though changes in them correlated in time with the Industrial Age. Shame on them.
