Hey BossCER, good to see you're still out there. Ever fix the oil consumption?

Working on the fuel system. Most recent: bad electric fuel pump, crap in the tank, pulled the tank - fixed a few gasket leaks in the tank, adding some foam to reduce slosh, had the injectors checked and cleaned, and now putting it back together for the season. New optima battery on the rear tray (took out the small Rock Racing battery; died again - second Rock Racing battery) Got black flagged at Thunderhill - #1 might be smoking, clutch rattles sometimes and worries me, thinking it might need another dyno tune (ouch$$) .... we'll see.

As for the shape of the body, the rear wheel well is more rounded too, wider? At 100 mph, all cobra's look similar!

Very cool billet suspension, but don't know if it is better or not. The shocks are moved inboard to reduce weight. Giant 17x335 rear tires also changes things. But my gut feeling is that Kirkham, ERA, SPF, FFR, Shell Valley, JBL have more cars out there and all of the bugs have been worked out. Interesting to do a comparison. I soften my suspension for more street comfort. No antisway bars, but thinking of designing a front bar. (I'm in the softer spring - big antisway bar camp) At rest, front steering is hard - went to a new ratio but still takes a gorilla to park the car. Tony Woodward changed the ratio for parts only - free labor. (My Shell Valley Daytona Coupe turns much easier at rest)

I love my CER1008, since I built it. Billet suspension is always a WOW factor. I had a good experience with Doug and Kurt at CER.

Still tinkering and having fun!
