I had the same problem when fitting my turkey pan. If you're going for the original look, the commonly sold fuel logs only fit 3-2bbls and 2-4bbls, not a single Holley/turkey pan combo. And the repro hard line from the fuel filter to the log will be wrong, too. The correct log is unique, and sits a little further back along the valve cover than the 2bbl and dual quad versions.

I purchased my log from Motorsports International in California, but I'm not sure they're still around. Do a web search for their telephone number and give them a try.

I had to hand fabricate a hard line to fit, but I'm pleased with the results. I used a repro line as a template and added the necessary length/bends to mate with my log. It eliminates the brass 45 degree fitting at the front of the log as the line goes straight into the log. Looks factory, and doesn't leak.
