Default Conservative Movement vs Liberal Movement

Conservatism, like Liberalism, is a style of thought. There are certain values each hold dear, it's a way of looking at life and politics.

The conservative movement is different, it is a political movement. It demands obedience, and is harsh on those who do not follow the "party line." This is pseudo fascism. The basic tenants are strictly enforced. Those who express a view contrary to their "popular opinion" are quickly identified as "Liberal". In the conservative movements view you are either with them or against them, there is no middle ground. No room for independent thought.

Essentially there is no "Liberal Movement." There is a loose knit group of people with varying ideals, varying goals, varying outlooks on life. Some may be Independents, Democrats or Republicans. They make up a much larger percentage of the American population than the "conservative movement" would have you believe.

It is more important than ever for those with opposing views toward the pseudo fascists to make their voice heard. At the risk of being labeled a "Liberal" do not be afraid to be an "Independent".
