Ex, you're beating your head against a wall here.
What has manifested itself is America at it's most defensive incarnation to date. The thought of bipartisan politics will frighten many for fear giving an inch that they had long and hard fought for. Damn the rest of the world and what they may think of us and our thinking, we started the revolution, it belongs to us! Speak out against God and Country and you will be labeled a liberal, a muslim, a traitor to your flag. On the other hand, speak in favor of freedoms and rights and be labeled a right wing conservative. Is there middle ground? Not that I've seen in a while. Honestly I find it disgusting and tragic that we practically go to blows over the differing opinions expressed here. THIS IS WHAT'S KNOWN AS EXTREMISM. Yep, the same BS that causes third world civil wars and tribal feuds, the same crap you hear about between the ****e's and the Sunni's... my God is better then your God - and that's all in reference to the same friggen book, just different interruptions. Is that who we as a nation are becoming and is that who we want to be viewed as, a bunch of whiney children who can't get along and don't want anyone else to play with our toys? Grow up people and learn what give and take is and let's all stop the name calling.
